i just got an email yesterday from Glico Indonesia, they told me about the pocky day and invite me to celebrate it too! 

To celebrate of Pocky Day, this year by using "Pocky Share Happiness" theme, Glico wanted to share the happiness to invite the whole world to smile through Smile Campaign Counter Pocky held from 1 November 2016 to January 31, 2017 globally, including in Indonesia. 

In Japan, every November 11 (11/11) celebrated as Pocky Day. Each year, the central office Glico in Japan always organize activities with a theme that is consistent with the message of Pocky products, namely 'Share Happiness'. Pocky Day itself greeted enthusiastically by the Japanese people, especially the teenagers. In addition to participating in the activities of Glico, Japanese teenagers usually enjoy and decorate Pocky together with loved ones. This celebration itself has done for 17 years since set in 1999.

In this first global campaign, Glico invites the public to share the joy by sharing a smile with Pocky Smile Counter applications contained in the official website of Pocky Day globally. 

Pocky Smile Counter is an application that can calculate the amount of "smiling photo" in the social media accounts. To determine the number of photos smiling, users must first log in to smile to be connected directly to a Facebook account. Applications Pocky Smile Counter will automatically calculate the number of images smiling contained in your account. Users can also edit images with some adorable Pocky frame.
